Dean's list on resume. It can mean a Lot Depending on Requirement. Dont include Deans List if you graduated with Latin honors If you graduate with Greek honors or Latin honors such as Cum Laude Magna Cum Laude or Summa Cum Laude dont add Deans List to your resume. It should clear concise.
Making the deans list is a testament to your ability to succeed. If your GPA was less impressive during your other semesters including deans list can draw attention to. In fact a GPA is often far more indicative of your academic success.
Although optional listing a Deans List award on your resume can be especially helpful for recent graduates and students vying for internship opportunities. Of course it is not the only factor but it is a positive one most of the time. Include the name of the school major and other relevant details.
Include Deans list on your resume if you have been added to it regularly. Most of the time this information is redundant and you can use just one of these details instead of both. You can add this under the awards and accomplishments section but a recruiter can get a clearer depiction of this by looking at the education section of your resume.

If you made the Deans list every semester while you were in college list it in the education section of your resume right next to your GPA.
Add Deans List to LinkedIn If you have a LinkedIn profile add your GPA and include Deans List according to the rules above. When I see that on a rez it makes me think the person is trying to fluff themselves like I can see the GPA right there. Add it to your profile.
